The importance of a work life balance is often very hard to achieve and can lead to burnout overload or breakdown.

Living to work is not a healthy working principle, inevitably family and friendships can suffer and pleasurable activities are often shelved.

With many years’ experience of working with employee assisted providers and healthcare providers with positive outcomes, I am aware of the multiple issues that can be underlying difficulties at work.

At times the work environment replicates a difficult past family or organisational dynamic and therefore through a combination of both analytical and cognitive models of working allows for change, personal growth and understanding.

It is possible to navigate a healthy work life balance, to enjoy work again and feel in control.

This is facilitated in an encouraging, supportive and professional setting which can be highly empowering and motivating.
